Science/Matter

In class we have be learning about matter. All the year 6's in room 9 had a fun time learning about matter. We have learnt  that air takes up space. We tested with a tube, tissue paper and a bucket of water. The only problem we had was that the tissue paper got stuck at the bottom of the tube and it got messy at the end but at least we had fun. 

Halloween Party

On the 31st on October Magenta had a Halloween party. Lily, Abbey, Emma, Caitlin and me all came to the party. We went trick or treat then we watched scary movies then we were suppose to have parents v.s kids but that never happened because we all fell asleep as soon as the movies finished. We all had fun together.

What happened at girl's camp

At girl's camp we did a lot of things and had a great time there. The beds were uncomfortable and everyone talked. On the last night, everyone stayed up to 3pm in the morning. At girl's camp we did the flying fox, pony rides and I was in change of the pony rides. It was extremly fun time in my life.

Girl's Camp

On the first week of the holidays I'll be going to a girl's camp out for a whole week. At the camp we will be doing a lot of exciting things like go horse riding, climb the rock wall and other exciting things. I can't wait until I get there, it will be extraordinary.   

About Reuben Patterson

When Reuben Patterson was young he always wanted to be an artist. When he grew up,  that day the wish had come true. Reuben was born in Auckland 1997. He had a troubled family life both parents and one of his sister's battled drug addiction, and his father was sent to prison. As a youth, he lived with his mother, Charlene Patterson who eventually died of a heart attack when he was at the University of Cincinnati. As he grew up he became an artist as his family thought he'd become.   

In The Weekend

In the weekend I went to Magenta's house to stay for two night's. We didn't do much but we had a great time hanging out with each other. Lily came as well but she stayed more longer then me. Lily's dog came to sleep with us for one night but then Magenta's step Dad told us that the dog had to go back to Lily's because it mess up the house. Before I went back home Lily, Magenta and I went to the shop and bought some lollies and eat them up. The sleep-over was brilliant.

Cross Country Trainning

The weather hasn't been fine, that means we can't go outside for cross country trainning. But just luckily we've got something to do as cross country trainning. Do you think we need to do trainning? Well yes we do. There are two reasons why we need to do trainning. 1. It's good for our hearts to do some running.
2. We need to get outside to get some freash air into our body. It's been great running around the school.

My Fun Life

So far has been great learning new things with Miss. Edgerton like to know how to add and subtract decimals in maths and angles. Did you know a right angle is a 90 degrees and a straight angle is a 180   degrees. On Tuesday Magenta, Lily and I were hanging out together and we went to a shop and bought lollies and went back to Magenta's house and we ate our lollies. After we finish our lollies it was time to go home and have tea and guess what I couldn't sleep.

About Me

My favourite candy is chocolate and my favourite food is fish 'n' chips. My best friends are Magenta, Emma, Abbey, Lilly and Sophie. I love playing soccer. My favourite subject is maths.

About My School Terms

This term has be great so far. Miss. Edgerton  has been a great teacher to me that I think I  should treat her at the end. I all ready know what to get her as a present CHOCOLATE! If you have anything ideas for me to give to Miss. Edgerton for a present please tell me. Well lets not talk about Miss. Edgeton anymore. Heaps of new people are coming to Winton School. We now have about 200 and something here. I don't have much to say because I'm new to this still but there will be more coming up.
